About me and what I do:


My name is Daryl. I am a Certified and Insured Foot Reflexologist with additional training in Herbology, supported by hundreds of hours of self-study and hands-on experience with herbs, supplements, health, and edible plants. Originally certified in the traditional Ingham method of Reflexology, I later trained under a highly skilled local Reflexologist. Over the past 17 years, I have developed my own unique form of Reflexology—one that is precise, powerful, and results-driven. My approach, combined with strong problem-solving skills, allows for fast and effective sessions that speak for themselves.

Herbalism & Education
As an Herbalist, my focus is on educating people about the medicinal and nutritional benefits of locally available herbs, though I also explore exotic botanicals on occasion. I am particularly drawn to the Native American approach to herbal healing and foraging, as well as the lost art of home-based herbal medicine practiced by our ancestors. Keeping this knowledge alive is a passion of mine, and I enjoy sharing it with others.
Rather than offering generic, mass-market herbal advice, I provide personalized recommendations based on years of real-world experience working with plants and supplements. My approach blends multiple herbal traditions to achieve the best results, and I am always expanding my knowledge to better serve my clients.

From Reflexology to a Full Natural Health Store
For years, I have offered various natural health products alongside my Reflexology practice. This eventually led to the creation of Tree of Life Natural Foods, which originally operated under Slippery Elm Reflexology before growing into its own entity. Tree of Life Natural Foods is now a full-fledged natural health store, offering a carefully curated selection of Herbal Capsules, Nutritional Supplements, Natural Soaps, Essential Oils, Salves, Honey, Collagen, Natural Snacks, Silver Hydrosol, and more.
A few things you won’t find here:
  • MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) Products – I have a strict NO MLM policy. I only sell products I personally believe in, not ones I’m obligated to push.
  • Predetermined Session Packages – I won’t pressure you into committing to a set number of Reflexology sessions on your first visit. Healing time varies for each person, and I assess this on a case-by-case basis.

A Faith-Based Approach
As a Christian, I run my business according to biblical principles. This means I will not offer anything that I believe could be spiritually harmful. My office is free from energy work, Reiki, yoga, hypnosis, and other New Age practices. I have studied these subjects extensively—both their origins and how they align (or don’t) with Scripture—and I make a conscious effort to separate Reflexology from these practices.
Additionally, I am cautious about the use of electronic health devices. Many of these lack solid scientific backing, and I won’t use or recommend them unless they have proven effectiveness (e.g., foot detox baths often fall into the "snake oil" category). With a background in mechanics and electronics (I am also a Licensed Ham Radio Operator), I take a critical approach to such claims, always keeping my clients' best interests—physically, spiritually, and financially—in mind.

Commitment to My Clients
Each visit, I will assess your progress and determine whether continued Reflexology sessions are in your best interest. If I feel you would benefit more from a different approach or practitioner, I will let you know and do my best to point you in the right direction. At the same time, I don’t give up easily—I am committed to exhausting all possible methods to help you find relief.
I am always happy to offer honest opinions when asked. If needed, I will research your medications and check for known interactions with supplements, though I always recommend consulting your doctor or pharmacist before making any changes.
