Does Reflexology hurt?
Everyone has a different pain threshold. As such, this question is hard to answer. The session can be slightly painful to quite painful depending on your pain tolerance and the issues I am working on. I tailor my sessions to get the most out of your session while keeping the pressure in a tolerable range.
Is Reflexology safe?
Reflexology is extremely safe. I have worked on day old infants to people well into their 90's. The only time Reflexology should be cautioned against is the first trimester of a pregnancy and certain health conditions such as blood clots in the legs. If you are unsure whether you should try Reflexology please talk with your Doctor.
My feet are really ticklish, can you still do Reflexology on me?
Ah... this is one I get often. Most people don't have a problem getting Reflexology done. The pressure used will usually be enough to bypass the ticklish feeling, but sometimes it can still tickle just a little. I rarely ever have a problem with this but hear it alot from new clients.
What got you into Reflexology?
I got into Reflexology after my mother received relief from sciatic nerve pain from it. I originally went to check it out because I thought it must be a scam. I made 3 or 4 trips to the man who would later train me before I decided there must be something to this. It wasn't long and I was amazed at what Reflexology could do when applied correctly.
